Biography
Caroline comes from a background in sport; playing, competing, coaching, umpiring and mentoring. Now qualified in various sports, when still a teenager she progressed through the ranks of the clubs to become a mentor for young coaches and sports leaders starting out on their coaching pathways.
After studying BSc(Hons) Sports Coaching and Sports Education at the University of Gloucestershire she worked in sports development in South West England. Working with young leaders and instructors was her passion, giving them the skills, confidence and support to start out and encourage them to think and become more than someone who sets out the cones. She continues to study a new qualification in her own time every year to keep up to date in education.
Caroline is based in Zermatt, Switzerland working as a coach and strength & conditioning assistant for Subzero Coaching and ski teaching for Matterhorn Diamonds ski school. She will be one of the lectures at the IASI Alpine Strength & Conditioning Coach Level 1.
Caroline will be attending the Interski Congress 2019 in Pamporovo as researcher member for the Irish Interski Team.
